When the Lindy Hop revival happened, the Internet was much different than what it is nowadays. Dancers had to travel from country to country to share information, absorb new learnings and get in contact with the great productions that had already been made. But what happened since then? How did the evolution of technology and the means of communication allowed that the Hoppers “responsible” by the revival started to produce their own video content and how did these new records started to be passed around among the scenes that sprouted in so distant places? This and other questions about audiovisual production will be addressed here.
